The Croatia debt crisis is a financial crisis that originated in the early 2010 (and for some starting in the 1998 ), often known as the “lost decade”, when Croatia reached a point where for most of the Croatian citizens their debt exceeded their earning power and they were not able to repay it.
Blocking the bank accounts and legalizing state usury and shark-loaning system Croatian Government created a new form of humanitarian crisis that 5 years later ( 2010.- 2015.) cannot be solved without deep reformist strategies.
The results speak for itself.
Every fourth working Croatian is blocked ! Unable to pay their debts.
Most of them ( 300 000 people plus their families) have been blocked
for a long period of 5 years up to now.
